“Poppies have been my favorite flower ever since I was a young child admiring the brilliant red blooms my mother cultivated in her garden.  But it wasn’t until the mid-70s, when I traveled to Europe and saw endless fields of them gracing the countryside, that I became inspired as a landscape artist to begin cultivating my own “garden,” so to speak.  Thus, the Poppy Series was born and now includes over 160 original paintings–and is still growing!
